اعتراض به تحریف حقایق آذربایجان غربی در سایت بی بی سی

همانگونه که اشاره شد و در لینک فوق در بخش " Ethnic Groups" قابل دسترسی می باشد، سایت انگلیسی بی بی سی نقشه ای تحریف شده را منتشر کرده است که در آن استان آذربایجان غربی کاملا کردنشین معرفی شده است! لذا این یک وظیفه خطیر برای تمام فعالین آذربایجانی است که تا آنجا که در توان دارند به این تحریف اعتراض نموده و با ارائه مدارک مستند از ترکیب جمعیتی و حقایق تاریخی در خصوص این استان، زمینه آگاهی جهانیان از حقایق تحریف شده در این زمینه را فراهم نمایند.

در زیر نامه اعتراضی که به مسولان سایت بی بی سی ارسال شده است آورده می شود. از تمام دوستان تقاضا می شود اعتراض های خود را در لینک زیر به بخش " BBC world service website " ارسال نمایند. همچنین از دوستانی که به اسناد آماری و تاریخی مستدل دسترسی دارند تقاضا می شود اسناد مربوطه را نیز به آدرس ایمیل (worldservice@bbc.co.uk ) ارسال نمایند.

Dear editorial office of BBC world service website

I should inform you that in BBC’s news entitled “Iran in maps” which is in the link below, a great unbelievable mistake has been occurred. In the map of Iran and in Ethnic Groups section, the West Azerbaijan province (AZARBAYJAN-E GHARBI) has been declared to be part of Kurd ethnic section which is not true! As it implied in the name of the province, it has majority of Azeri ethnic group and historically has been part of South Azerbaijan. So I would strongly wait for BBC to correct this great mistake as soon as possible and publish an announcement about that in the BBC’s website.
